Kid vs Wild 2025 - Session 1

June 16 - June 20, 2025
Our annual joint youth camp with Rome Floyd Parks & Rec and the Floyd County Sheriff's Office offers kids a fun and educational experience. Campers enjoy fishing, archery, BB gun shooting, visits from public safety organizations, and a trip to the farm at Running Wild!

Last week wrapped up our first session of Kid v Wild for the summer—and we’re happy to report all our campers survived!

Huge thanks to everyone who made this an unforgettable and exciting week for the kids. Special appreciation goes out to:

A big shout out to the Floyd County Wildlife Club💥, Floyd County Emergency Management, Georgia Forestry, Rome-Floyd ECO Center, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Running Wild, the Rome Woodturners and especially Rome Floyd Parks and Rec!

Many campers experienced firsts—catching their first fish, shooting a bow and arrow or BB gun for the first time—and had an absolute blast. From outdoor adventures to swimming at the North Rome Swim Center, it was a week full of learning, laughter, and fun!
